Get to know me!

What’s a fun fact about you that always surprises people?

A fun fact about me that often surprises people is my love for dresses—I dream of owning 365, one for each day of the year!

What’s a hobby or activity you could talk about for hours?

A hobby or activity I could talk about for hours is my fascination with killer whales (orcas). I am passionate about their behaviour, intelligence, and the beauty of these incredible creatures, and love diving into conversations about their role in marine ecosystems and their awe-inspiring nature.

What’s your go-to drink order—coffee, tea, or something else?

I LOVE coffee and a pastry on a crispy morning. I also enjoy small plate food, so I can experience lots of flavours at once. The dopamine is really hitting with this one.

What’s a book, movie, or TV show you recommend to everyone?

Based on my passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals, I recommend “ADHD: An A to Z” by Leanne Maskell. It’s insightful, empowering, and aligns with my mission to spread awareness and understanding about ADHD.

What’s a memorable moment that always makes you smile?

A memorable moment that always makes me smile is when a child in my class made me a handmade card telling me I was the best teacher ever. It was such a humbling experience and a beautiful reminder of the impact I had on their life and why I loved being a teacher.

If you could swap places with any fictional character for a day, who would it be?

If I could swap places with any fictional character, it would be Phoebe Buffay from Friends. I admire her fun-loving, creative, and spontaneous nature. Living by a coffee shop and embracing life with such a carefree attitude would be an exciting and unique experience!
